Having fallen in love with Pinot Noir several years ago, I have explored many of Oregon’s wineries. In order to learn more I started working in a winery tasting room and taking classes at Chemeketa Community College’s viticulture center. Grand Cru Wine Tours is my way of sharing my love of Oregon wines with you.

Justin started out exploring the wineries of Napa Valley and has continued his search for great wines in Oregon. In addition to being a fan of Oregon Pinot Noir, he is our expert on the areas microbreweries and distilleries. Living in Eugene has helped him become familiar with the southern end of the Willamette Valley.

Taking an enthusiastic and inquisitive approach to the wine industry, John began his career as a tasting room staff, teaching about different wines, and in the process, learning various techniques to the winemaking process. As a tasting room employee, he was encouraged to explore surrounding wineries to get a better understanding of what others were making to better enhance experiences of customers looking for specific qualities in wine.
